Scripture: James 4:5-7

James 4:5-7 states, “Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, ‘The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously’? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: ‘God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.’ Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” We cannot stand before God if the enemy has place in us. God has a whole developmental school of the Spirit designed with one goal in mind – the removal of all the places the enemy has in us. When those places are gone, when that mixed-seed is gone, then and only then do we gain access to the fullness of the Living Christ. We can represent Him as King and we can represent Him as Priest. Nothing is impossible to us when the mixed-seed promoting self is removed. When the enemy has no place in us, Christ has full reign. Jesus said it in John 14, “The ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.” God’s goal is for His people to walk in that place in the last days. And as we walk through the school of the Spirit, the fullness of the Living Christ is going to flow once again in the House of the Lord.
