Scripture: Revelation 2:23

Revelation 2:23 says, “I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.” If anyone ever wonders whether Jesus acts terminally in the New Testament the answer is, He does! What incites Jesus to kill in the New Testament? Does twisted sexual immorality and the tolerance of it reach a termination stage? The answer is yes – in the second generation. Whenever spiritual kids begin to expand the perversion their parents adopt, Jesus says in Revelation 2:25, “I will kill her children with death…” He finished the verse with, “I will give to each of you according to your works.” Jesus is still Judge in the New Testament. He is the Judge who says, “Some things will get you terminated!” Jesus is the Terminator in the book of Revelation and starts out being a terminator in the church before He starts terminating in the world. Can we expect to see Jesus the Terminator show up in church? According to Revelation 2:23, we can bank on it!
