Scripture: 1 Samuel 8:4,5

1 Samuel 8:4,5 says, “Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, ‘Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.’” It is obvious that God had an intent and purpose for the Kingly anointing. Kings have to judge. They have to judge right from wrong. As a King, you and I stand before the Throne and have to make judgments. When we make judgments between what is right and wrong, we have to call the judicial fire on what is wrong so that it does not continue and destroy our intended harvest field. A failure to stand up and call for the judicial King is to enable evil and forfeit a harvest God wants to give.
