Scripture: Revelation 11:5

In the original Spirit-Filled Bible by Jack Hayford, the notes on Revelation 11:5 state: the two witnesses are the “church militant”. Everyone who attempts to harm the witnesses dies by fire! Why would the Bible say they must be killed this way? The picture of fire in the last days that are dispensed by the two witnesses as often as they desire demonstrates goodness and severity. The witnesses of Revelation are revealing the same God who judged Ananias and Sapphira. We have never seen more God-haters than we see right now. They even have television shows to spew their poison into the land. Watch the fire as it falls on the God-haters. Watch them removed. Watch the spirit of judgment and spirit of burning come forth. There is a responsibility the church has. If we are walking in the Spirit, we should be releasing some of these things in order to preserve our harvest field before it is defiled by the God-haters! Let fire fall on every God-hater who is determined to destroy the harvest!
