THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15
Scripture: Malachi 3:4,5

Malachi 3:4,5 states, “’Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the LORD, As in the days of old, As in former years. And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien—Because they do not fear Me,’ Says the LORD of hosts.” If we will submit to the fire, so that we can offer an offering in righteousness, then we see what the Lord does. He comes near for judgment. He is a judge against all those who become our enemies. We don’t have to do anything but ask God to deal with our enemies…then sit back and get ready for the fireworks! Now if the enemies are purported believers, then the same refiner’s fire that we submitted to intensifies as it comes on them. Whether or not they turn and acknowledge their sin and repent, depends on whether they survive the fire or not. Malachi knew the Messiah. Do we know the Messiah of Malachi? Peter did. Paul did.
