SATURDAY, APRIL 23
Scripture: Luke 22:36

In verse 36 Jesus said, “But now he who has a moneybag, let him take it, likewise a sack; He who has no sword let him sell his garment and buy one.” It is more important to have a spiritual sword than a black suit. It is more important to carry a sword in the realm of the Spirit, than to have the appropriate attire for any event. Why have we emphasized dressing right and have not equipped our men and women with a Biblical sword. Jesus said that a sword is more important than the garment you are wearing. The sword has to be bought! The failure to buy a sword is to be unequipped for what is coming in the days ahead. As a church we must buy a sword and prepare for what is coming. Jesus ordained it and ordered it, and it is time we stepped up to it.
