Scripture: Genesis 17:7

Genesis 17:7 says, “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.”  One of the things that becomes very clear about God is that His covenant extends to every succeeding generation who will pick that covenant up and walk in it.  The key is the response.  If the generation says yes then the blessing that God brought upon their parents and grandparents will come upon them.  America is watching its blessing disintegrate under the assault of an antichrist spirit within a political party that dominates government. This antichrist spirit has adherents in both political parties but effectively dominates the one in power.  When Jesus faced antichrist spirits, He did not bow.  When the prophets faced adversarial, demonized people, they did not bow.  Why is the church bowing to evil?  Why is the church making covenants with evil?  Why are some segments of the church approving and ordaining people who are sexual deviants?  Apparently, they have forgotten what Amos knew and openly reminded Israel about:  that when there is calamity in the city, has God not done it?
