Scripture: Isaiah 59:15-16

Whenever the church refuses to do the Word, America’s condition today is the result.  Verses 15-16 state, “Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no mish-pawt/justice. He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him.”  When He didn’t see believers operating covenantally, He came and He brought covenant justice.  What did He do for three days and three nights in the belly of the earth – what did He come up with?  Did He come as a Priest, a King, or did He come as both?  The truth is He came as both.  When it was time to be a Priest, He was a Priest.  When it was time to be a King, He spoiled principalities and powers and put them under His feet.  Why when it came time for Jesus to be a King did He spoil principalities and powers and how is it that when it is time for us to do the same in His name, we enable them instead!  Only someone blind to the Word can end up doing exactly the opposite of what God wants, while deceived into thinking they are doing His will.  The last forty years of church history in America reveals the enabling of evil – not doing God’s Word.  We were being nice when we should have been demanding justice!  Either the church grows up, or we lose a nation.  When it was time for Jesus to be a King, He spoiled principalities and powers, so that He could be a Priest.  Perhaps we need to review the pattern.
