May 2010 Outcry

The church should teach that demons don’t rule according to Ephesians 3:8-12, “To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.”  Confident access guarantees action against demonized political rulers.  God’s eternal purpose for the church is to demonstrate these perverted rulers can be judged by moving His hand!

How can we demonstrate to the judiciary as a whole and radical judges in specific that while they can  take away freedom with a decision, they will not prevail?  As a Christian, we have a right to demand our God intervene in our behalf against tyrannical decisions and the judges and politicians who promote them!  The only way I know to prove they do not rule is to pray until God judges those judges.  Only God’s hand publically manifested against the perpetrators can annul the damage.  When God moved against Herod, freedom resulted.  Praying prayers that fit the recent actions of our political leaders includes passages like Psalms 94:20-23, “Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You? They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood. But the LORD has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge. He has brought on them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own wickedness;  The LORD our God shall cut them off.”

As a grandfather, the appointment of an avowed gay activist determined to advance the homosexual agenda in public schools as a safe-schools-czar was a stench in my nostrils2.  It is so offensive that there is only one default reaction that comes to mind, praying over him and all those who advance his agenda. Psalms 55:15-1 is appropriate, “Let death seize them; Let them go down alive into hell, For wickedness is in their dwellings and among them.  As for me, I will call upon God, And the LORD shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me. God will hear, and afflict them, Even He who abides from of old.  Because they do not change, Therefore they do not fear God.”

I invite all those who are as grieved as I am about the choices and actions of our leaders to pray these passages demanding covenant action.  Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!  Let lighting and hail consume them and may the Lord do to them what they desire to do to the church!
